A couple set off from Basel in a motorhome for a journey through the south of Europe.Behind the wheel is Niggi, a passionate photographer and skilled “fix everything”; next to him Annette, paralyzed from the neck down for almost 20 years and dependent on his care 24 hours a day. Hospitalizing his wife in a home for the elderly has never been an option for Niggi. With grace, wit and courage, the two do not break down and go on, snatching from life what beauty still has in store for them.
